The doctrine of hell is uncomfortable for all of us! But it’s an unavoidable part of the big picture of eternity. Jesus talked about it seriously and frequently as a real/terrible end. But if we choose to skip over the idea of hell, what are we saved from? If you skip over hell, what happens to evil and Satan in the end?
What do you think happens to you after you die? Have you ever thought about it? People have been thinking about it for all of history. It’s one of life’s great questions. Your end isn’t the end. In fact the end isn’t the end—It’s just the beginning. God is up to something. He has a plan; he has since the beginning.
We begin a new series, The Big Picture, looking at the the big picture of life through the book of Revelation. In week one Pastor Michael highlights that God is Holy. The word “Holy” describes God as completely other. Pure. Perfect. Untainted by evil. Jesus is worthy to be your lord and savior. Jesus is worthy to receive glory and honor. He made all things and sustains all things and saves all who believe.
