Do you have some suggestions on how to get motivated and begin a consistent PBJ time? The reasons I have not been consistent are feeling more like excuses but I just have no motivation. It’s a frustrating cycle of trying and then feeling like I’m not getting anything out of it then feeling like a failure for not following through.
Hi Jassminne – I’m sorry it’s been frustrating for you. First, remember that PBJ is about the relationship with Jesus, not about the task of praying, reading your Bible, and journaling. Here are a few other tips to help remove the friction of connecting with Jesus:

I like this video a week concept. To Jassminne, I struggle too but I just keep plugging away. ( I’m an older person). Lately I’ve been trying to keep thinking about a section I’ve just read. For example Jacob and Esau and their lives. What a mess! God is very patient!
