Scripture: Leviticus 7-8, Psalm 21, Acts 25
1 The king rejoices in your strength, Lord.
How great is his joy in the victories you give!
2 You have granted him his heart’s desire
and have not withheld the request of his lips.
3 You came to greet him with rich blessings
and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—
length of days, for ever and ever.
King David wrote this psalm to rejoice in the Lord’s help and thank God for His answers to prayer and the victories He gave.
I want to use the psalm to thank the Lord for some recent answers to prayer and positive outcomes!
I’m rejoicing in the Lord’s answer to my steady prayers the past two years for our transition at Life Center. Michael has stepped into the lead role and is preaching and leading exceptionally well. The staff and church have responded very positively. I love where Michael is leading us and where we’re going as a church!
The Lord has “granted my heart’s desire and not withheld my request.” He has answered my prayer, and I’m rejoicing! And I’m loving my new role, the tasks I’ve been assigned, the people I get to work with, and the flexibility of my new schedule! The Lord has given me a wonderful life!
Prayer: Lord, I’m rejoicing in You, in Your answers to my prayers, in the great things you are doing in our church, and in the wonderful life You have graciously given me.
