God’s got this
Scripture: Luke 12
Luke 12:6–7 Aren’t five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 In fact, even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
Luke 12:22 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.
Luke 12:29 So do not be overly concerned about what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things.
Luke 12:32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is well pleased to give you the kingdom.
Observation
Don’t be afraid. Don’t worry.
Why? Because you have a Father who cares for you. A Father who knows when a sparrow (one of the cheapest items in the market) falls. A Father who knows you so well that He knows even the number of hairs on your head. A Father who feeds the birds and clothes the flowers—and considers you far more valuable. A Father who is pleased to give you the kingdom.
Take a deep breath. God’s got this.
Application
Pretty obvious: don’t worry, don’t be afraid. Trust God your Father. Where am I facing worry or fear in my life? Consciously bring that to God in prayer and set it at His feet. Leave your worries and fears there.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety (worries, cares, fears) on him because he cares for you.
Prayer: Lord, I love You and I’m so grateful that You are a Father who values me, and cares for me. Today, I cast all my cares upon You.
