Last weekend Northwest Leadership College took over! At all the services college-aged students, (many wearing fundraising tie-dye shirts for Bite 2 Go) welcomed people with smiles and handouts. The college director, Josh Schiel introduced them on stage, and talked to potential applicants in the commons. From the sales of the tie-dyed shirts, we raised over $1,000, which sponsors six food-insecure kids for the entire school year. Woo!
We’ll be highlighting the interns in the coming weeks — stay tuned! If you would like to know more about NWLC, visit the website or contact Josh Schiel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
