Life Center partners with organizations doing good work and connecting people to each other and to Jesus. Occasionally, we feature a partner for a special offering to raise awareness and support their work. This June we’re excited to highlight Project ID!
I wanted to share something that was on my heart. Yes it is great that we received [a generous donation] from Life Center. But what I feel is more important is that many of the checks were $20, $25, $50, or $100. What this tells me is there were a lot of people that wanted to support our mission, that a lot of small donations made a big donation. What blessing it is to know that we touch so many hearts and that they see great work that God gives us the opportunity to serve. We have received so many gifts in their time, talents and resources.
We are so blessed to have great partners like Life Center!
Project ID is building a vibrant and thriving community in Spokane for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and Life Center is honored to partner with them in that work! For more information about the organization, visit their website: projectidspokane.org.
Another way we partner with them is through serve opportunities which typically happen through Rooted, one of our next steps at Life Center. These are primarily relational rather than project-based with various activities to join: puzzles, pool, zumba, coloring, bingo, table games, or even just chatting. It is a wonderful and welcoming group always interested in making new friends.
If you’re interested in checking it out, you can reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or directly through their volunteer page.
Life Center Partnerships are formed through personal connections to non-profits, our outreach staff, and a missions council made up of Life Center members committed to spending our resources wisely in our community and around the world to love God and love people.
