I started attending Life Center 30 years ago through a Saturday night Find-Tell-Bring invite. The contemporary worship and the Hawaiian shirt/short pants/flip-flops wearing Pastor Joe made me feel I was in the right place. A few weeks later I asked Jesus to come into my life and make himself real to me… My life would never be the same again!
I met my wife Laura also at a Saturday night service. We have been married for 26 years, and next to Jesus, we are first place in each other’s heart. We have served side by side and separately in Children’s Ministry, Pre-marital Trainers, Greeters, Welcome Center, Life Group leaders, Men’s Mentoring and Financial Council. We have met and served along many life-long friends. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with Laura, golfing, building jigsaw puzzles, and traveling.
I work for the Spokane Arby’s Restaurant Franchise as the Director of Operation. I’ve been with Arby’s 42 years.
It’s a joy to serve on the Financial Council among so many Jesus-centered leaders. Each of the executive pastors and council members come with a wide range of experience, diversity, professional expertise, and deep love for Jesus. I’m proud to have been a part this current council that has had to navigate Covid-19 while in the middle of transitioning from Pastor Joe’s leadership to Pastor Michael’s. God has been so good to LC and I couldn’t be more confident in Pastor Michael and Sarah and the future of Life Center.
