“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” ~ Genesis 2:3 NIV

That is what we did on the 7th day, we rested. After all of the door to door ministry, the youth services, crusades, church services, and travel our team was in need of some rest. We woke up, repacked of bags and drove an hour and a half to Raki Raki or as we all thought it was spelled, rocky rocky. On the way we checked something off the Bickley’s bucket list and went to the Fiji water company. David believed it was few guys filling water bottles out of a standard sink and selling, but he was wrong; it was legit.

We have been in Fiji for one week and this was the first time we really got to see the ocean, and it really is beautiful. We took they day to relax, we found a pool and went swimming for a few hours, took some nice hot showers and a few of us went to the market to buy food for the next couple of days. We rested and relaxed, we enjoyed each others company and the company of the Bickley’s. And it was Good.

The 8th day we got to experience Fiji as tourists for a while. We chartered a boat and went snorkeling. The water is very beautiful, on the was to or destination we saw hundreds of dolphins swimming and playing. Getting to see the dolphins was a special treat but it was made even better being with the Bickley’s and there girls, having the lens of children made it even more special.

We were all a little tired and sun burnt but ready to go. That night we had a crusade in a small Fijian village where we all lead worship together, Sam and Dana gave testimony’s sharing the love of Jesus. Ginger spoke and gave a message on never bing alone and called for prayer at the end, we all got chances to lay hands and pray for people in need. David, Sam, and Jake have been driving people home after most events and getting a chance to have some car ministry with many people. When David and Jake got back got back to the church a sweet girl was teaching Ginger and Robyn the dance she did for her item, they were doing a great job but it was very comical. We said goodby to all the kind people we meet and heading back getting home late again but all full and happy to be serving.
